Hi, Jingjing. ☺️
Thanks for your sharing, based on your blog, I agree with you. As you shared, I dislike the summative assessment because it is mainly based on the midterm or final exam after a semester, which makes me feel very nervous, maybe I do not have many problems in my study process, but when I face the summative exam, I feel that the content is very complicated. I cannot remember all the knowledge, so I cannot get a good score in the exam, but I have learned much more than what is mentioned in the summative exam, maybe because of the pressure, I will forget some parts of the exam, but it does not mean I did not learn, so the score alone is not good feedback to the students’ learning achievement, so I prefer formative assessments, which allow me to get timely feedback from the teacher while not putting too much pressure on me, and this way I can study more efficiently.

Hi, Jingjing.
Thanks for your sharing; I am happy to read it. My exposure to AR technology is limited to Google Maps and an AR game; through your sharing, I found that the use of AR in our real life is still pervasive. This technology can help us very well. For example, the house viewing mentioned in your sharing makes it significant to apply AR to house viewing. Because I think the primary goal of people’s life is to have their own home, and the first thing we need is to have a house of our own, so the choice of house is significant. Everyone is living habits and aesthetics are different. If you look at the pictures to choose a house, the house likely does not match the pictures because of the lens’s wide-angle, light and angle, etc. However, through AR technology, whether you buy a house or rent a house, you can immerse yourself in it and understand the size and decoration of the house in more detail. I think this is a great help to our life.
On the other hand, integration into learning can also stimulate the students’ participation and the teacher’s interaction, which can also significantly improve learning efficiency. I once had a biology class where the teacher used the most traditional model to teach, and some parts of the organ class could only be observed through pictures and videos, which was a significant obstacle to the student’s understanding, so the results of my learning in that class were not very good. As you shared, this software can also simulate human injury problems and has a more visual and clear introduction to the structure of the human body. If I choose a similar course in the future, I will use this software to help me understand better.

Hi, Jingjing

Kahoot is a game tool that I am very interested in. I first learned about this software through your introduction. With the software you shared, I think Kahoot is more interactive for students than Quizlet, and it is more interesting to improve the self-testing method. It is straightforward to use for everyone, and the speed and correctness of the answers give the learner a more emotional and accurate result. The faster they answer, the higher the correct rate, the more effective the learning outcome. It increases the learning atmosphere in the classroom and makes us more interested in learning, and the interaction between the teacher and the students is improved. I think this software will also be helpful for my future learning, and if I have the opportunity, I will use it as one of my learning tools.

Hi, Jingjing
Thank you very much for your sharing about your sharing this week; I can understand more clearly through your narrative what kind of characteristics these three mods have, in our daily life learning, we as students, how to learn more effectively through the right way is critical, because if we do not have a correct and effective way of learning, then our courses in each semester will become more complicated, with multiple courses taking place at the same time, it is difficult for us to allocate our study time equally and rationally as a way of ensuring that the content of each subject is more effectively impressed upon our minds. On the other hand, teachers need to consider several aspects when creating tools for teaching and learning. For example, I have the same idea as you. In the SECTIONS mod, teachers need to consider the practicality of this tool when creating media technology teaching and learning, as each student’s academic background is different. Before teaching and learning, it is essential that teachers need to. For example, if the teacher has created a tool and a psychology course, then students with an academic background in mathematics, physics, etc., will not use the tool as effectively as they could.
Moreover, one aspect of the production process that you mentioned that I think is most important is the issue you mentioned about plagiarism. In the learning process, both teachers and students need to put more thought into this, and plagiarism is a terrible practice for students to be fairer in their learning. Hence, teachers need to have ways of dealing with it to avoid such problems for students to improve the quality of their learning more effectively.

Hi, Jingjing.

Thank you for sharing this; this week, we have been learning about sketchnoting, and I think it is a helpful way for us to learn. In the process of making our skechnoting, it can be very effective in improving our memory because we are basically in four to five lessons now. It would be complicated to remember all the knowledge points in each lesson. However, this way of learning allows us to deepen our impressions through drawing during the learning process and summarise down the more essential knowledge points that can be easily found in the notes. With the sketchnoting you have shared, in which you have used arrows to mark out important information, it is easy to find relevant content to your title. And in your sketchnoting, you expressed the critical content you recorded mainly through drawing. I could understand very quickly what the knowledge you shared was about through your drawings; for example, the markings in the bottom right corner I could know what the purpose of your learning content was, using music symbols, portraits and money markings to reflect your entire learning content, clearly The relationship between popular culture and society in modern Chinese history, and their final goal in relation to economics and international, is very simple and clear. As most of my own sketchnoting is textual and more challenging to understand than using pictorial symbols, in the future, I will use more symbols and images in the same way to simplify the content and make it easier to remember.

Hi, Jingjing.

Thank you for sharing; I think in the learning process, both teachers and students will use different learning tools; I have the same experience as you, this semester I have a class, the teacher, whether lecture or after class homework, she will use Tophat this tool to carry out. I also have a teacher before will use Tophat to test, so this software has become my learning. As the multimedia learning principles of signal and time coherence, when we are learning, grabbing the critical points while adding videos and animations can effectively let us learn more practical knowledge at the first time, compared to single text learning, which can make us more impressed with the main content of learning. In the video you shared, the use of arrows to tell us where to click next is very clear and concise in explaining how to use Tophat, which I also found very useful.

Hi, jing jing ☺️
Thank you very much for your sharing this week. You have created a poster related to your hometown through conva. This online software includes beautiful pictures and corresponding introductory content, and through excellent colour matching, I think it is very attractive to readers. In our daily life, we can see different kinds of posters everywhere, whether we study or work, even on campus, in restaurants, and even at bus stops. In the process of making posters, we need to grasp the focus so that readers can understand the main content of your poster and want to promote the content. Hence, it would be best if you introduced the need to promote the content. If only a lot of text, reading will be rather dull. It is difficult to grasp the focus, but after adding relevant pictures, it will be very attractive, so that the whole poster I think will be very helpful for our future study of social media.

Thank you very much for sharing. After reading your blog, I think it is conducive to my study. First of all, it is always important to study with high efficiency, and how to do it efficiently is very helpful to receive the knowledge. In learning, the textbook content is a large amount of text and theoretical knowledge, if you want to read all the content provided by the textbook, it will take a lot of time and energy, and we do not have a way to ensure that we can remember all the textbook content, as I am very interested in the topic: cognitive load theory said, the human brain for the reception of knowledge is limited As I am very interested in the topic: cognitive load theory, the human brain has a limited capacity to receive knowledge, and a large amount of content cannot be remembered entirely in a short time. So I think what you have shared is a convenient solution to the cognitive load problem, and it allows us to do our study work efficiently, grab the key points as fast as possible and save time to a great extent.

Hi Jingjing, I am glad that I could visit your blog. Thank you for sharing about the learning tool experience. In your blog, I found many multimedia learning tools that I am also using, such as PowerPoints, YouTube, which we all know very well. YouTube, these learning tools, are primarily effective in improving our learning efficiency. As you shared the Ted talk, I enjoyed watching it when I first started learning English. Many excellent speakers share their learning experiences, life experiences, and even ways to improve learning efficiency, which provided significant help to my learning. I wonder if you can share some learning tools that not many people know, it will be conducive for people to have a chance to learn more about the new learning tools.
